Privacy Policy
1. Data Controller
The controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
YuzuHub UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Sedanstr. 3, 40217 Düsseldorf, Germany
Email: privacy@yuzuhub.com
2. Hosting and Technical Infrastructure
This website and the Yuzen CRM backend services are hosted on servers operated by Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany). Hetzner processes personal data on our behalf and exclusively on servers located in Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically records the following information in server log files:
- IP address of the requesting device
- Date and time of access
- Name and URL of the requested file
- Browser and operating system used
- Referrer URL
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website). Log files are automatically deleted after 14 days.
3. No Cookies, Anonymous Web Analytics
This website does not set any cookies. No fonts or other resources are loaded from external tracking services (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel).
We use Umami, a privacy-friendly, self-hosted web analytics tool. Umami collects anonymous, aggregated usage statistics only (page views, time on page, referrer, device type). No cookies are set, no IP addresses are stored, and no cross-device tracking takes place. Identification of individual visitors is not possible. Our Umami instance runs on our own infrastructure (Hetzner, Germany). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the anonymous analysis of website usage).
4. Yuzen CRM iOS App
The Yuzen CRM iOS app processes personal data as follows:
Contact data: The app accesses the native iPhone address book (Contacts.framework). Contact data is not transmitted to our servers and remains exclusively on the user's device.
CRM data (leads, activities, pipeline): Leads, activities, pipeline settings, and email templates are synchronized with our PocketBase backend and stored on German servers (Hetzner). Transmission is encrypted (HTTPS).
AI features:
- Business card scanning: When the device is online, the card image (downscaled to 768 px, JPEG) is transmitted over HTTPS to our own backend at yuzu.chat, operated by YuzuHub UG, for text extraction. The image is not retained after extraction. If the device is offline or the request fails, the app falls back to fully on-device processing (Apple Vision OCR + Apple Foundation Models, a CoreML NER model, or rule-based parsing).
- Voice transcription (audio → text): Runs entirely on the device via Apple's SFSpeechRecognizer in on-device mode. Audio never leaves the device.
- Voice note action extraction (detecting stage changes, deal values, etc. from transcripts): Runs entirely on the device via Apple Foundation Models on devices that support Apple Intelligence, and via rule-based keyword analysis on older devices. Transcripts are not transmitted.
No third-party AI APIs are used. All AI-related cloud calls go exclusively to our own backend (yuzu.chat). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
App analytics: The app uses Aptabase, a privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics tool. Our Aptabase instance runs on our own infrastructure (Hetzner, Germany). Only anonymous, aggregated usage statistics are collected (e.g. app launches, features used). No personal data, no device IDs, and no cross-device tracking are recorded. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR.
Email sending: Emails are sent through the native iPhone Mail app (MessageUI). We have no access to email content or send history.
User account: On registration we store your email address and a hashed password. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
5. Payment Data
Payments for the Yuzen CRM subscription are handled exclusively through Apple In-App Purchase. We do not receive any credit card or bank data. Apple processes payment data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
6. Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- Access (Art. 15 GDPR) — information about the data we store about you
- Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) — correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) — deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restriction (Art. 18 GDPR) — restriction of processing
- Portability (Art. 20 GDPR) — receipt of your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection (Art. 21 GDPR) — objection to processing
To exercise your rights, please contact privacy@yuzuhub.com.

Terms of Service
1. Scope
These Terms of Service govern the use of the Yuzen CRM iOS app and the associated backend services, operated by YuzuHub UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Sedanstr. 3, 40217 Düsseldorf, Germany ("Provider").
2. Description of Services
Yuzen CRM is a CRM app for iOS offering contact management, lead pipeline management, email templates, business card scanning, voice capture, and activity tracking. The app uses the native iPhone address book as its contact source.
3. Subscription and Pricing
Using Yuzen CRM requires a paid subscription: $7.99/month or $74.99/year (or the equivalent price in your local currency as set by the App Store). The yearly subscription includes a 7-day free trial; the monthly plan does not. Billing is handled through Apple In-App Purchase.
4. Cancellation
The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period via your App Store settings. After cancellation, access continues until the end of the paid period.
5. Availability
We strive for high service availability but cannot guarantee it. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible. We accept no liability for outages caused by force majeure, internet disruptions, or third-party actions.
6. Data Storage and Export
Contacts remain in the device's native address book (no data lock-in). CRM data (leads, activities) is stored on our servers and can be exported as a PDF report at any time. When an account is deleted, all server-side data is removed within 30 days.
7. User Obligations
The user agrees to use the app only for lawful purposes and not to store any content that violates applicable law. The user is responsible for the security of their login credentials.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Provider's liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. In cases of slight negligence, the Provider is only liable for a breach of material contractual obligations (cardinal duties), limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract. This does not apply to damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health.
9. Changes to These Terms
We will notify you of changes to these Terms at least 30 days before they take effect by email. If you do not object within 30 days, the amended Terms are deemed accepted.
10. Final Provisions
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. For merchants, the place of jurisdiction is Düsseldorf. Should individual provisions of these Terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
